Die beiden sprechen \u00fcber die wichtige Rolle von sog. <strong>Research and Technology Organisations (RTO)<\/strong> f\u00fcr Europa und Deutschland und dar\u00fcber, wie die FMD mit ihrer einzigartigen Rolle die Br\u00fccke spannt zwischen Grundlagenforschung und der Entwicklung von Produkten und Prototypen f\u00fcr die Industrie. 3 Trends werden wohl k\u00fcnftig die Mikroelektronikindustrie pr\u00e4gen:<strong> (1) Heterogene Integration<\/strong>, <strong>(2) Nutzung neuer Materialien<\/strong> und<strong> (3) neue Designans\u00e4tze<\/strong>. Au\u00dferdem betont Prof. Heuberger, wie wichtig es ist, sich um wissenschaftlichen Nachwuchs zu k\u00fcmmern und junge Menschen f\u00fcr die Mikroelektronik zu gewinnen. Nicht zuletzt geht es auch um k\u00fcnftige Herausforderungen f\u00fcr die globale Halbleiterindustrie.
